Dear all,
First of all, thank you all so much for the messages that you left on my website.. I was suprised, but they make me very happy!
This will probably be the last message from the Netherlands, while I will fly to India within 2 days. My first message was in Dutch, but since I have international friends and co-students I will write in English. In India, I will try to write both in Dutch and English, but that depends on time, electriticity and so on.
My bag isn't packed yet, but I will do that these days. My parents come to visit me today in Egmond aan Zee. The last days were great, party with co-students and meetings with friends.. and now I am ready to go. Jeroen already had some contact with professors in India, and they are happy to see him again. So I guess that he is looking forward to go back to India again. I am also looking forward to the first weeks with him, but also to my fieldwork.
For now, have a good christmas and Newyear. For the ones that are leaving for fieldwork as well: Have a good time.. take care and let me know your website or whatever, so that we can stay in contact! I hope we all come back with good stories and experiences.
See you all again in April!

Froukje, het was echt leuk om nog even in Egond te zijn, voordat je naar India vertrekt.
Ik hoop dat de reis voorspoedig verloopt en ben heel benieuwd naar jouw reisverhalen, jullie vakantie samen en natuurlijk jouw onderzoek.
